Quiet Mind Yoga . . . Alignment and Compassion
Teach Quiet Mind Yoga!
Quiet Mind Yoga, developed by Zack Dixon, is built on a foundation of alignment based asana practice. Quiet Mind Yoga is a compassionate discipline using the outer form of the yoga poses to quiet the mind and move closer to the Self. Quiet Mind Yoga builds physical and mental strength and flexibility and teaches present moment awareness.
Quiet Mind Studio, a beautiful waterfront studio in scenic Wellfleet, Massachusetts, will be offering the Teacher Training Program in Quiet Mind Yoga beginning October 2011. This Yoga Alliance approved 200-hour certification course will be held weekly with five additional weekend intensives (schedule below).
The course covers the foundational curriculum of Quiet Mind Yoga: alignment-based asana, pranayama, meditation, and applied yogic philosophy. Students will emerge with the ability to teach an excellent yoga class; the confidence, caring and compassion that keeps students safe and growing; and the inspiration that makes yoga a powerful tool for transformation.
Program Director, Zack Dixon, is from Cape Cod, Massachusetts where he lives and has been teaching full time for more than a decade. Quiet Mind Yoga emerged as a synthesis of Zack’s education with knowledgeable teachers and wisdom garnered from his teaching and his students.
